Well, today, I read and re-read part of “The Magic of Thinking Big” (by David J. Schwartz, Ph. D).
….well, I had actually written a lot more here, but, it got eaten by an visual editor that was a bit too eager to be helpful.
In any case, this is the gist of it: I’m enjoying the book, although it is a reprint of a half-century old work. It helped me to get out of a rut, and I’m sure it will continue to help some more.
And I prefer to read because it forces me to be more self-aware than watching tv, even if it is the same information… I am aware that tv is the fastest way to demonstrate information, however… esp. in story form… but if the point is to reform your lifestyle then reading is a better investment of time, even if less efficient in terms of information processing.
